AppCheck allows users to customise scan to specific dates and times, this is useful if you are wanting to run regular scanning without manually setting up a new scan definition each time.
Scheduled scans will send you an email notification when they have started and when they have completed.
You don’t have to worry about scheduled scans conflicting or starting multiple times, if AppCheck detects a scan is already running it will skip the schedule and run it again on the next window.
To create a scheduled scan within “Scan Settings” select “scheduled start date” this will allow the user to select the date and specified hour for the scan to initiate
You can also repeat the scan as frequent as you require from daily to once every 3 months.
Users can also schedule the scan timescales within “scanning Window Settings” to repeat the scan for specific times & days
This feature is beneficial for clients as the scan can be scheduled on certain days and times to prevent any excess load on the server.
When a scan falls out of a scanning window it is paused and once it enters the schedule window again it will be resumed.
